Palak vermicelli Dhokla(spinach vermicelli steamed pudding)
This is a vegetarian gujarthi recipe mostly eaten as breakfast.It can be taken as snack or side dish.
Often children avoid to eat leafy veggies,to serve veggies in a different way, i included spinach.This traditional recipe is made with Rice and chickpeas flours,i used vermicelli,chickpea flour and semolina.

Preparation time-10 minutes.
Cooking time -20 minutes.
Servings -2.
Ingredients:
Gram flour-2 table spoons.
Semolina(Bombay rava)-1tablespoon.
Vermicelli-1tablespoon.
Spinach chopped-2table spoons.
Salt-1/2 teaspoon.
Eno fruit salt-1 teaspoon.
Green chillies-2.
Yogurt-2 cups.

Salt-1/2 teaspoon.
Eno fruit salt-1 teaspoon.
Green chillies-2.
Yogurt-2 cups.
Tempering Ingredients:
Cumin-1/2 teaspoon.
Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon.
Green chillies-1.
Fresh coconut grated-1 table spoon.
Coriander finely chopped-1teaspoon.
Saute spinach and finely cut green chillies for a minute,add a pinch salt.
In another pan make tempering with Jeera(cumin),mustard, finely chopped green chillies.
Mix semolina,Vermicelli,Gram flour ,salt, yogurt and Eno fruit salt.
Grease a tin,pour half dhokla batter,spread evenly.
Layer the sauteed spinach,pour the remaining dhokla batter over it sand spread evenly.
Batter should be filled half the tin not more than that.

Prepare cooking pan for steaming,keep the dhokla batter tin in this,cover the pan ,cook for 20 to 25 minutes in high flame.
When it gets little cool,remove from,tin.
Spread seasoning,coconut and coriander.
