Basic custard cream with custard powder
Basic custard cream for fruit custard ,trifle and other desserts.
Basic custard cream |
Ingredients:
2 and 1/2 cups of full cream milk
1/4 cup of custard powder.
2 tablespoons sugar.
a bowl of ice cubes for ice bath.
Preparation:
Boil 2 cups of milk on low flame.
Mix custard powder in the remaining milk.
Add this milk to the boiling milk stirring continuously ,make sure there are no lumps.
Continue to stir till it thickens and switch of the flame.
Place the pan with custard in ice bath.Stir using a electric mixer until it custard cools down.
Place custard in refrigerator for 15 minutes.
Remove from refrigerator. Repeat stirring for 3 to 4 minutes.
Again place it in refrigerator for 10 or 15 minutes and repeat the same process again.
Rich creamy custard is ready to be served with favourite desserts or fruits and extra topping with tutti frutti.
Biscuit trifle custard pudding with chopped almonds and tutti frutti.
