Shahi prawn curry |
Ingredients:
250 grams peeled and marinated with 1/4 teaspoon salt,1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
2 medium onions .
2 tomatoes.
1 teaspoons of salt.
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
1/2 teaspoon chilly powder.
1 teaspoon coriander powder.
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder.
3 slit green chillies for dressing.
5 -8 cashew nuts
1 tablespoon melon seeds.
1 tablespoon Mint and coriander leaves.
1 cups of water.

Caraway(shajeera)-1/4 teaspoon .

Canola oil-2 teaspoons
Preparation:
In a small pan or tawa, add 1 teaspoon of oil and heat it,add marinated king prawns, stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes,until pink colour and keep them a side.
Heat a pan,add ghee,oil,cumin,onions saute till light pink colour.
add turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste ,mix and cook for a minute.
add sliced tomatoes.
Powdered cashew and chironji, coriander powder,garam masala,chilly powder,shajeera and salt, mix and cook until tomatoes are soft.Add half a cup of water.
Add sauteed prawns,mix well and cook for 5 minutes.
Add chopped green chillies and fresh coriander,serve hot.
