Quick tuna capsicum curry
Canned tuna is a rich source of omega3 fatty acids and B-vitamins.
Quick tuna capsicum curry |
Ingredients:
Tinned Tuna/Canned tuna - 200grams.
Tomato puree-1 tablespoon.
Onions -1/2 cup sliced.
Capsicum-2 tablespoons sliced.
Green chillies-2 slit.
Tomatoes -2 medium sliced.
Dry parsley-1/2 teaspoon.
Pepper powder-1/4 teaspoon.
Aniseed's(Ajwain)- a pinch.
Preparation:
Cut all the vegetables in half inch length slices.
Add a teaspoon of canola or mustard oil to a pan,heat it in low flame.
Add sliced onions ,green chillies and ginger garlic paste saute for 2 minutes.
Add sliced capsicum and tomatoes ,allow to cook for a minute on medium flame.
Add a table spoon of tomato puree,pepper powder,aniseeds, dry parsley mix well and cook for a minute.
Add tinned tuna removing water.Cook for 2 or 3 minutes.Serve hot.
Tips: 1.Do not add salt while cooking,as canned tuna preserved in salt.Add salt according to taste later if required.
2.Take tomatoes medium ripe not too ripe,it spoils texture of curry.
