Ingredients:
For Curry :
Cardamom-4
Cloves-4
Cinnamon-1
Bay leaf-2Onion-2
Ginger garlic paste-2 teaspoons.
Green chillies-6 to 8
curry leaves-10 to 15.
Tomatoes-2 medium
Coconut milk-1 cup thick .
Pepper Powder-1 teaspoon.
Coriander Powder-2 teaspoons.
Fenugreek powder(methi seeds powder)-1/2 teaspoon.
Salt to taste.
oil for coking.
For fish marination:
King fish -500 grams.Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon.
Turmeric-1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper-1 teaspoon.
Salt-1 teaspoon.
Lemon juice-1 lemon.
Preparation:
Marinate fish and keep aside for 10 minutes.In a pan add oil and shallow fry turning both sides to cook 3/4.
Take another pan or same pan we can use.
Add a tablespoon of oil heat it.
Add chopped onions,ginger,garlic,green chillies and curry leaves.Saute until onions turn soft.
Add turmeric powder, salt,chilly powder, half of coconut milk and tomatoes. Bring this to boil .
Add fish pieces and mix gently.cover and cook till the gravy is thick.
Now add remaining coconut milk, mix gently.remove from flame .
Serve hot with rice.
