Quick semolina upma
A simple and common south Indian breakfast recipe.Quick breakfast recipe within ten minutes.
Semolina(Bombay rawa)-1 cup.
Carrots chopped-1 and 1/2 tablespoons.
Green chillies chopped-1teaspoon.
Onion chopped-1tablespoon.
Curry leaves- 10 to 12.
Cashew nuts-6 to 7.
Salt-1/2 teaspoon.
Split black gram(urad Dal) -1/2 teaspoon.
Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon.
Dry red chilly-1.
Water-2 cups.
Ghee- half spoon.
Oil-1/2 spoon.
Carrots chopped-1 and 1/2 tablespoons.
Green chillies chopped-1teaspoon.
Onion chopped-1tablespoon.
Curry leaves- 10 to 12.
Cashew nuts-6 to 7.
Salt-1/2 teaspoon.
Split black gram(urad Dal) -1/2 teaspoon.
Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon.
Dry red chilly-1.
Water-2 cups.
Ghee- half spoon.
Oil-1/2 spoon.
Preparation:
Boil 2 cups of water.
Add oil and ghee in Pan,heat it.
Add cumin,split black gram,cashew nuts,dry red chilly ,green chillies,curry leaves and onion,fry them for a minute.
Add chopped carrots cook for 1 minute.
Add semolina,fry till the semolina starts changing colour.
Add boiling water carefully.
Cook it for 5 more minutes or semolina absorbs all the water.
