Lachha Paratha
A popular Punjabi paratha or bread, which is flaky and layered ,tasty paratha.

Ingredients:
Plain flour/whole wheat flour-2 cups
salt-1teaspoon.
sugar-1 teaspoon.
Ghee/oil-2 tablespoons.
Dry flour for dusting.
Warm water or warm milk for kneading.
Oil for frying.
Preparation:
Mix salt,sugar,oil and flour.Knead the flour by adding warm
milk or water in to a soft dough.
Cover it and leave it for half an hour.
Make the dough into eight equal balls.
Roll into a round thin circle.
Spread some oil on the surface,fold 1/2 inch inside and
then half out, zig-zag.
Make this long strip into spiral ball,press it with fingers.
Roll it into thin parathas without tearing.
Heat a pan,fry the parathas on
low-medium heat,when the edges start lifting,grease it with oil,turn other
side,fry both sides to light brown.
Serve hot,with any gravy curry.
