Hyderabad's Dum ka chicken

Ingridients:
Chicken-500 grams
Chironji-1/2 tablespoon.
Cashew nut-1/2 tablespoon.
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tablespoon.
Youghrt-1cup.
Lemon juice-1 tablespoon.
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon.Salt-1 teaspoon.
Red chilly powder-1/2 tablespoon.
Cloves-2Cardamom-2
Cinnamon sticks-2
Bay leaf-1
Shahjeera(caraway seeds)-1/4teaspoon.
Coriander powder-1/2 tablespoon.
Garam masala powder-1/2 teaspoon.
Turmeric powder-1/2 teaspoon.
Salt-1 teaspoon.
Mint leaves chopped- 1/2 bunch.
Coriander leaves-1/2 bunch
Tomatoes chopped(tomato paste)-3 medium.
Onions fried-3 medium.
Red food colour- pinch.
Oil-1 tablespoon.
Make a paste of chironji and cashew nut adding a spoon of youghrt.
Marinate chicken with lemon juice, ginger garlic paste, salt, chilly,powder,Turmeric powder,Red food colour, youghrt,Nuts paste, coriander powder, garam masala.
Leave it for at least half an hour.
Take a flat pan or Lagan(traditional cooking dish), grease it with oil.Add dry spices,place the marinated chicken in pan, add chopped tomatoes, coriander and mint leaves.
Place the pan on flame.
Cover it with a lid and place some weight on lid.
Cook it on medium flame for 10 minutes.
And reduce the flame,cook for another 15 minutes on slow flame.
Switch off the flame and serve it with roti or rice.
