Ingredients:
1 teaspoon baking powder.
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup milk
Vanilla essence-1/2 teaspoon.
Preparation:
Grease steaming bowl.Beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time and beat until combined.
sift flour with baking powder and then fold into butter mixture.Add milk and mix well.
Pour this into a greased steaming moulds up to half of the mould,cover it with a baking sheet,top it with a silver foil and tie it with a thread,covering completely.Keep this steaming mould in steaming pan,cover it tightly.
Steam for 40 to 60 minutes or Insert a skewer into the centre come out clean.
Allow it to cool.
Run a knife around the edges of the moulds and invert in a serving bowl.
Serve it.
