Ingredients:
Tomatoes -2 medium.
Tamarind - 1 inch.(optional)
Ginger -1 inch.
Channa dal- 1 and 1/2 table spoon.
Groundnuts -1 tablespoon.
Green chillies-3.
Pepper cons-1/2 teaspoon.
Salt -1 teaspoon.
Turmeric -1/2 teaspoon.
Cumin -1/4 teaspoon.
Oil for cooking.

Procedure:
Dry roast all the ingredients to golden colour with a drop of oil except tomatoes.
Now cook tomatoes and tamarind(optional)with a teaspoon of oil and turmeric until done.
When they cool down ,grind altogether with salt.
Take into a serving bowl.Make tempering with cumin,mustard seed,urad dal and curry leaves.
Add to the chutney ,serve with any type of dosa , idly .
