Egg less pineapple upside down cake with Whole wheat flour.
Whole wheat flour-1 and 1/2 cups.
Butter milk-1cup.
Butter- 1 and 1/2 cups + 1 tablespoon.
Powdered Sugar-2 cups.
Sugar -1 tablespoon.
Sugar -1 tablespoon.
Pineapple slices(tinned)-4
Baking soda-1teaspoon.
baking powder-1tablespoon.
Pineapple essence-1 teaspoon.
Procedure:
Mix flour,baking powder,baking soda and sieve.
Take 1 tablespoon sugar and 1 tablespoon butter,melt on medium flame.
Stirring continuously,cut two pineapple slices into small pieces and add to
sugar syrup and cook for minute,allow it cool.
Mix melted butter, buttermilk and powdered sugar.
Add wheat flour slowly.Now add melted sugar and pineapple pieces and essence,Mix well.
Pre heat oven at 200 degree c.
Bake it for 40-45 minutes on middle rack.
Check inserting a tooth pick in the centre,if cake is done then comes out clean.
Allow it cool for 5 to 10 minutes.
Gently remove the cake from tin and place it on a wire rack upside down to cool completely.
