- Plain flour -175 grams.
- Sugar-175 grams.(3/4 cup)
- Butter(melted at room temperature)-175 grams(3/4 cup)
- Eggs(room temperature) -3.
- Baking powder -3/4 table spoon.
- Vanilla Essence-1 tablespoon.
- Cocoa powder -1 table spoon.
- Red food colour -2 drops.

Procedure:
Preheat oven to 200 degree C.(follow according to your oven instructions)
Sift together flour and baking powder.Grease 20 cm tin,line tin base with baking paper.Make sugar to powder.(we can use Mixer)In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar powder.Add eggs.
Whisk together,add vanilla essence and flour and mix well for about 3 minutes.
Do not over beat or mix.
Divide the batter into three containers.
Add red food colour to the second container and mix it.
Add cocoa powder to 3 container and mix thoroughly.
In the baking tin gently spread each coloured alternately.

Remove cake from the tin.
Enjoy the cake.
