Dondakaya vepudu(Tendli fry )
Dondakaya or tendli or ivy gourd has lots of medicinal values and rich in beta-caroente.Dondakaya vepudu is a easy and tasty, dry curry cooked on a low flame .

Ingredients:
Dondakaya/Tendli -200 grams.
Onion -1/2 or 1 small.
Ginger garlic paste -1/2 teaspoon.
Turmeric-1/2 teaspoon.
Salt -1 teaspoon.
Chilly powder-1 teaspoon.
Cumin,Mustard -1/2 teaspoon each.
Urad Dal-1 teaspoon.
Coriander powder -1 teaspoon.
Curry Leaves -10 leaves.
Canola oil - 1tablespoon.

Procedure:
Heat a pan ,add oil.
Add cumin,mustard and urad dal,add chopped onion and curry leaves,let the onions turn pink.
Add ginger garlic paste and turmeric,mix it.
Now add finely cut tendli/dondakaya and salt,saute for a minute.
Cover it with a shallow plate, add cup of water to the plate.
Cook tinda for 10 to 15 minutes on a low flame,mix in between for every 2 or 3 minute.
When tinda is soft,add chilly powder and coriander powder ,mix and allow to cook for 2 more minutes with out covering.
Serve with Boiled rice or Bread.
