Moist vanilla cake |
Ingredients:
Plain flour(Maida) -1 and 1/2 cups.
Butter(room temp)-1 cup.
Sugar 3/4 cup.
Baking powder- 2 teaspoons.
Eggs-4.
Vanilla essence-1 tablespoon.
Extra butter for greasing the tin-1 teaspoon.
Procedure:
Pre heat oven at 200 degree centigrade.
Swift flour with baking powder.Make sugar to sugar powder.
In a bowl cream butter and sugar powder.
Beat in eggs,one at a time,combine vanilla and water.
Add this creamed mixture with flour ,mix well as necessary,don not over mix.
Pour this into the greased baking tins.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in preheated oven.
Cake will pull away the sides slightly ,when the cake is done.Allow the cake to cool in the tin for few minutes,then remove to rack and cool completely.
