Paneer Masala(Cottage cheese in Spicy Gravy)
- Tomatoes -2 or 100 grams.
- Onion-1.
- Green chillies -3.
- Dry red chillies-2.
- Fresh ginger -1/2 inch.
- Turmeric -1 tablespoon.
- Red chilly powder -1 teaspoon.
- Ginger garlic paste -1 teaspoon.
- Salt -1 teaspoon.
- Paneer cubed -100grams.
- Paneer Masala Powder - 1tabalespoon.
- Oil for cooking -1 tablespoon.

Procedure for Gravy cooking:
Add oil to saute pan and heat it.Add cumin,mustard,dry red chillies,after they start spluttering,add chopped onions,turmeric,saute until onions change colour to pink.
Now chop tomatoes,grind it adding ginger.
Add tomato puree to onions,add masala powder,salt and chilly powder.
Let it cook for 8 to 10 minutes.

Now take small pan,add 1 table spoon oil and heat it,now add paneer cubes fry light golden brown. cut two green chillies in two long slices,add paneer and green chillies to the gravy,cook for 1 more minute. Serve with While boiled rice or Iranian saffron rice or a Nan roti or a chapati,it goes well with any main dish. |
