Ingridients:

2 cups of basmati rice.
250 grams peeled and marinated with 1/4 teaspoon salt,1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
2  medium onions .
2 tomatoes.
1 teaspoons of salt.
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
1/2 teaspoon chilly powder.
1 teaspoon coriander powder.
1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder.
2 boiled eggs(optional)
3 slit green chillies for dressing.
1 tablespoon melon seeds.
1/2 cup yogurt.
1tablespoon Mint and coriander leaves.
21/2 cups of hot water.
Brown onions-2 tablespoons.
1 teaspoon ghee
Canola oil-2 teaspoons

Whole spices: 

Cinnamon -2 sticks
Black cardamom -1
Cardamom green-3
Cloves-4to5,
Bay leaves-2,
Caraway(shajeera)-1/4 teaspoon .

Procedure :

    In a small pan or tawa, add 1/2 teaspoon of oil and heat it,add marinated king prawns, stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes until pink colour and keep them a side.

    Wash and soak  rice for 30minutes,mean while cut all the vegetables.
    Strain rice ,remove all the water,heat1/2 teaspoon of ghee in a pan ,add a tablespoon of chopped coriander and mint leaves,saute for a minute.Add strained rice,fry it until rice is dry.

    Take a hallow pan, add oil and ghee,add whole spices,onions ,green chillies,let the onions turn light pink,add turmeric powder, salt and chilly powder,garam masala powder add tomatoes,allow them to cook for 2 minutes.

    Make a paste of melon seeds and yogurt,add to tomatoes,cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
    Now add 21/2 cups of water.
    Add sauteed prawns,boiled eggs, mix well .

    Add 2 cups of boiled water.
    Now add fried rice,mix well , leave it on high flame till rice is  3/4 cooked.

    Cover it with foil and  lid.
    Place this dish on tawa ,and keep tawa on low flame,cook for 10 more minutes.
    Remove lid after 5 minutes.Serve hot by adding brown onions and chopped coriander leaves.
