King prawn dry masala  curry with aromatic coriander seeds.

Aromatic mild spicy prawn dry masala  dish cooked  with  flavours of  coriander seeds, fresh ginger and garlic dressed with fresh coriander and raw onions.

Ingredients:

250 grams peeled and marinated with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1/2 cup of onion finely chopped.
3 slit green chillies for dressing.
1 tablespoon roasted seasame powder.
1 teaspoon curry leaves.

Dry masala:

1 tablespoon coriander seeds.
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds.
1/2 teaspoon cumin.
5 to 6 garlic cloves.
5 to 6 peppercorns.
1/2 inch fresh ginger.
4 green chillies.
1/2 teaspoon salt.

Place coriander seeds,mustard seeds,cumin's,garlic cloves, peppercorns, green chillies,ginger in mortar with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and crush them to coarse medium  powder with pestle.

In a small pan or tawa, add 1/2 teaspoon of oil and heat it,add marinated king prawns, stir fry for 2 to 3 minutes until pink colour.

Place a pan on medium flame, add a table spoon of oil, saute onions till light golden brown,add dry masala powder saute for a minute.
Add sesame powder.Mix it.

 Now add  stir fried prawns,curry leaves, mix and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

Serve hot dressed with fresh coriander leaves and onion slices along with any breads or boiled rice.

  1. Wow prawns...they are super delicious but unfortunately I cannot have them cz it is allergetic to me....still ur snap made me more hungry....
