Chicken biryani in 3 easy steps,very less oil and mild .

Ingredients:

750 grams of fresh chicken.(cut into 6 pieces)
500 grams of curd(yogurt)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chilly powder
1 teaspoon salt

Other ingredients:

500 grams basmati rice
1/4 garam masala powder
1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
2 teaspoons Brown fried onions.
1 teaspoon Ghee(clarified butter).
2 tablespoons fresh mint and coriander finely chopped.
1 cup of saffron infused milk.

whole spices:

Cloves-5
Green cardamom-5
Pepper corns-10.
cinnamon sticks-2
Bay leaves-2

How to proceed:

Wash and soak rice with enough water for half an hour to 1 hour.
Chicken biryani
Marinate chicken salt ,lemon juice,salt ,turmeric,ginger garlic paste,chilly powder,cover it  and leave it for 1/2 an hour to 1 hour.

Take a thick bottomed pan ,place the marinated ,spread dry whole spices.
Remove all the water from rice and spread rice,chopped fresh mint and coriander leaves.

Add coriander powder and garam masala powder,saffron milk,melted ghee.
Cover it with silver foil and close it with heavy lid.
place this pan on thick tawa(flat pan),cook on high flame for 5 minutes.
Turn the flame to very low and cook for 25 minutes.
Switch of the flame,leave it covered for 10 minutes and served with chopped coriander and brown onions along with yogurt raita.
