Anjeer Khajoor Burfi/Date and fig Burfi.

This recipe is a healthy with no added sugar and oil or butter.
 Dried figs are an excellent source of minerals like calcium,copper,potassium,manganese,iron,
selenium and zinc.Dates are rich in dietary fiber and they contain no cholesterol.Almonds and Pistachios are complete source of energy and nutrients.

Ingredients:

Anjeer/figs(dried) -10.
Dates-10.
Almonds sliced-1 table spoon.
Pistachios coarsely powdered-1 table spoon.
Water for cooking -1 cup.

Preparation:
Soak Figs and Dates in hot water separately for 3 hours.
Drain the water,make puree,and cook the puree adding water till it gets thick and sticky.
Add sliced almonds.
Spread this puree on a baking sheet,now sprinkle pistachio powder.Let it cool.
Gently roll it,and cut it into slices and serve.
