Potato masala
- Potato -500 grams
- Onions-100grams
- Green chillies-5 to 6(adjust according to taste)
- Curry leaves -10 leaves.
- Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon.
- Chilly powder-1 teaspoon.
- Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons(according to taste).
- Coriander powder -1 teaspoon.
- Jeera -1/2 teaspoon.
- Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon.
- Urad dal -1 table spoon.
- Chandal(optional) -1 table spoon.
Procedure:
Clean potatoes thoroughly with water,cut into 4 slices,Pressure cook adding salt and 2 cups water.cut onions,slit green chillies into two.Now add oil in a pan , add mustard seeds,jeera,urad dal,chanadal ,onions.
Saute onions till it changes to pink,add green chillies,ginger garlic paste,chillies powder,turmeric,coriander powder,add potatoes removing skin and add salt,mash it .cook for 5 minutes.
Potato masala is done.We can serve with Poori,Roti ,Rice and Dosa.
