Ingredient's:

  1. Potato -500 grams
  2. Onions-100grams
  3. Green chillies-5 to 6(adjust according to taste)
  4. Curry leaves -10 leaves.
  5. Ginger garlic paste-1 teaspoon.
  6. Chilly powder-1 teaspoon.
  7. Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoons(according to taste).
  8. Coriander powder -1 teaspoon.
  9. Jeera -1/2 teaspoon.
  10. Mustard seeds-1/2 teaspoon.
  11. Urad dal -1 table spoon.
  12. Chandal(optional) -1 table spoon.
Oil for cooking- 1table spoon.

Procedure:
Clean potatoes thoroughly with water,cut into 4 slices,Pressure cook adding salt and 2 cups water.cut onions,slit green chillies into two.Now add oil in a pan , add mustard seeds,jeera,urad dal,chanadal ,onions.

Saute onions till it changes to pink,add green chillies,ginger garlic paste,chillies powder,turmeric,coriander powder,add potatoes removing skin and  add salt,mash it .cook for 5 minutes.
Potato masala is done.We can serve with Poori,Roti ,Rice and Dosa.
