Ingredients:

  • Thick Poha / Rice flakes  : 1cup
  • onion                         :1
  • curry leaves              :8 to 10
  • green chillies             :3
  • ground nuts                :2 Tbsp
  • roasted chana Dal       2 Tbsp
  • dry red chillies            2
  • jeera                            1tbsp
  • mustard                        1tbsp
  • turmeric                         1 tbsp
  • oil                                 2Tbsp
  • salt                               1/2 Tbsp(according to taste)
  • red chilly powder           1/2 tbsp
  • lemon juice                   2 Tbsp

Method:


Wash poha and drain water completely, keep a side,cut onions in small pieces,slit green chillies in to two.
Heat oil in a pan,add mustard,jeera, dry red chillies,ground nuts,roasted chana Dal.
Then add onions,curry leaves,green chillies,let the onions fry to pinkish colour(do not allow them to turn brown) add turmeric,salt,chilly powder ,poha ,mix them properly and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes.add lemon juice.
Enjoy as a breakfast,evening snack or in lunch box for kids.
